Service Design Academy meets the growing need for quality, accredited service design training and education. Our courses are designed to connect theory and practical application through workshops, coaching and mentoring.

How we do it

We use service design methods and collaborative approaches in everything we do. For us, service design is not just another discipline – it’s in our DNA.

We connect theory with practical applications so learners can experience service design in action. Live classrooms, watch any time videos, buddy and teamwork, mentoring and case studies are all in the mix.

We design our courses with our customers after extensive user research. We use the knowledge and experience of our partners at the Service Design Network to shape the learning we deliver.

We are trained to facilitate in highly collaborative and fully inclusive ways and have a wide range of creative tools to bring the service design mindset to individuals and organisations.

Campus

We are based in the Incubator at Dundee & Angus College’s Gardyne Campus.

We deliver learning in state-of-the-art facilities with the support of the College’s services.

SDA is part of the global Service Design Network Academy Satellites, bringing thought leaders and delegates from all over the world to Dundee.
