Kim Anderson

Service Design Consultant

she/her

Kim began her career in graphic design after graduating with a degree in Computer Arts from Abertay University. It was taking part in design sprints that inspired her to learn more about design thinking, which led to her studying a Masters in Design for Business at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (DJCAD).

With 12 years’ experience working in the learning and development sector, Kim has applied a service design approach in developing products and digital platforms for a global audience. Kim also volunteers for the Scottish Tech Army supporting charities and third sector organisations with creative and service design projects.

As well as service design, Kim is passionate about accessible and inclusive design, she is continually developing her knowledge and skills in both these growing areas. She believes that all services should be inclusive and accessible and is proud that this thinking is at the heart of the design approach at the SDA.
